Kelsey is a Master of Arts Counselling Psychology practicum student. She has a bachelor's degree in Community Rehabilitation and Disability Studies through the Cummings School of Medicine at the University of Calgary. Kelsey has worked with children and adolescents with developmental disabilities and mental health disorders for the past 15 years in residential, community and educational settings. She currently works for the local school district in a specialized setting for students with autism spectrum disorder. Kelsey brings a strengths-based approach to her work and is passionate about expanding her knowledge of therapeutic interventions, with a particular interest in cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT). Outside of her professional life, Kelsey enjoys spending time with her family around a bonfire, cheering on her kids at soccer games, practicing yoga, and reading a good book.
