Rene Trombley
Speech Language Pathologist
Rene is a Speech-Language Pathologist with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Mount Royal University and a Master of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Alberta. She has experience working with both children and adults with a range of communication and feeding/swallowing disorders. Rene is especially passionate about childhood language development and bilingual language learning. She has conducted extensive research in this area, completing two thesis projects focused on language development in school-aged children and young adult bilinguals. Her work has been presented at national and international conferences and published in the International Journal of Bilingualism. In practice, Rene is committed to a family-centered, collaborative approach that considers the whole child. She strives to provide comprehensive, individualized care to help children and their families achieve meaningful goals. Outside of work, Rene enjoys river surfing, going to the gym, rock climbing, and spending time with friends.
