Hayley Dommett MSc., CCC-RSLP

Speech Language Pathologist

Hayley, a small-town girl with roots deep in the heart of Saskatchewan. Raised in an environment that cherished connection and communication, her journey into Speech Language Pathology was profoundly influenced by personal experiences.

Growing up with a cousin who communicated through sign language and a grandma who faced the challenges of severe stuttering, Hayley found her purpose and knew she wanted to be a SLP at the age of 14. Learning that there was a career dedicated to helping individuals find their voice, she embarked on a path that would lead her to make a difference.

Hayley earned her Bachelor's Degree in Communication Disorders at Minot State University, and continued on to complete her Master's Degree at the University of North Dakota (Go Sioux). With a versatile background, Hayley has lent her expertise to various age groups and settings, including hospitals, schools, daycares, home settings and PUF programs. Her philosophy revolves around meeting each child at their unique point of development, and tailoring programs to cater to the distinctive needs of both the client and their family.

Hayley's true joy lies in working with young children, helping them find their voice and fostering connections with those around them. Her specialization in Alternative Augmentative Communication (AAC) and sign language reflects her dedication to innovative and inclusive methods of expression.

Beyond her professional pursuits, Hayley finds immense happiness in her role as an auntie. Adoring her two nieces, one nephew, and eagerly anticipating another addition to the family, she is deeply rooted in the importance of familial bonds. When she's not striving to empower the lives of those she works with, Hayley cherishes moments with her family, friends, and her beloved grandpa John. Her story is a testament to the transformative power of communication and the impact one person can have on the lives of others.
