Introducing Explorers!

Explorers is our community-based respite group. Our community-based respite group for kids ages 8-15 offers monthly adventures filled with discovery, fun, and new experiences. Whether it's exploring local attractions or trying out exciting activities, Explorers provides a chance for kids to connect with peers and enjoy time in the community. Check out our blog for the latest updates and details on upcoming outings!

Our Olympians teen group will also be incorporating community outings starting in September 2024.

Respite Groups

Engagement in recreational activities is more than just playtime; it's a crucial component of a child's development. For children with disabilities, these activities offer unique opportunities for growth, learning, and socialization. Research shows that recreational programs tailored to children with disabilities significantly enhance their social skills, self-esteem, and overall quality of life.

At Elevated Abilities Respite, we harness the transformative power of recreation to foster an environment where children can thrive, build friendships, and explore their creativity in a supportive setting. Our experienced staff can support many needs and strengths.
