Job Summary:
We are seeking an Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. As an Speech Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing individualized treatment plans for clients with various physical, cognitive, and developmental conditions.
Responsibilities:
Assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans for patients
Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care
Keeping accurate and up-to-date records of patient progress
Staying current with the latest research and techniques in the field
Requirements:
Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology
ACSLPA registration
2+ years of experience in a clinical setting
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport with children, families, and collaborate with healthcare professionals.
Knowledge of and experience with treating and assessing speech sound delays, receptive and expressive language, feeding, stuttering and social skills
Understanding of child development and pediatric medical conditions.
Understanding of adult development and medical conditions would be considered an asset.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
